Sunita P. Advani is a tribunal secretary to Mr Michael Lee, an experienced English arbitrator member of Twenty Essex in London and Singapore.  In this role, she assists Mr Lee in his high-value and complex international commercial arbitrations across various industries (such as energy, construction, joint ventures and M&A) and administered by the leading arbitral institutions globally (such as the ICC, LCIA, SIAC and HKIAC). 

Sunita previously practised international arbitration as an Associate at a leading international law firm in Singapore, and also worked as a Research Assistant at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment at Columbia Law School in New York City. 

Sunita holds an LL.B. from the University of Nottingham, and an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she was the Executive Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal.  She is admitted to practise in England & Wales, New York, Singapore and Ireland. 

Sunita is an London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) Regional Representative for Asia Pacific for the 2025-2027 term, as well as the Founder and Chair of Singapore Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (SG VYAP). 

Additionally, Sunita is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
