Arbitration Victoria’s Panel of Arbitrators

Arbitration Victoria has a panel of nine approved arbitrators who have agreed to arbitrate disputes under the Arbitration Victoria Rules at the capped arbitration as fees set out in the fee schedule in the Arbitration Victoria User Manual.

Each of the arbitrators on the Arbitration Victoria Panel is solicitor or barrister accredited with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; and each one has experience in both domestic and international arbitration.

For arbitrations under the Arbitration Victoria Rules, Arbitration Victoria can nominate an arbitrator or the parties may select an arbitrator from the panel of approved arbitrators below.


Monique Carroll

 Monique is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) as well as a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA).  She has extensive experience in commercial and regulatory dispute resolution, compliance investigations, risk management and advice, China dispute resolution, compliance and risk management. 

Huw Watkins

Huw is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb); and he is a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). 

Huw has substantial experience with international and domestic commercial disputes.  He has particular experience with M&A, contracts and projects disputes both at the Victorian Bar and as a Senior Associate at Ashurst in Tokyo and Melbourne.   

Donna Ross

Donna has been practicing law for over 20 years, representing clients in complex commercial matters, including construction, IT, franchising, finance and partnership disputes. 

Donna has extensive experience in commercial arbitration both as an arbitrator and counsel in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (FACICA) and a Fellow and graded arbitrator with Resolution Institute (FRI). 

Adam Rollnik

Adam is a senior practitioner with significant experience in commercial arbitrations (international and domestic). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and ACICA and he has particular expertise in contractual disputes, real property law, building and construction (including security of payment), large infrastructure disputes, commercial leasing, franchising, and insurance. 

Bronwyn Lincoln

Bronwyn is a commercial disputes lawyer and arbitrator.  She has over 20 years’ experience in assisting clients to resolve commercial disputes through litigation, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution processes.  

She is a Grade 1 Arbitrator with Resolution Institute, a Fellow of ACICA, a panel arbitrator with the HKIAC, SIAC, AIAC, NZIAC and KCAB International.  She is also a director of the Australian Disputes Centre and ACICA.  She is recognised in Doyles, Best Lawyers Australia and Chambers Global/Asia Pacific. 

Robert Heath

Robert Heath QC is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb); and he is a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). 

 He has experience in acting as sole arbitrator under the ACICA Rules; and he has experience acting as sole arbitrator in ad hoc arbitrations.  He is a member of arbitration panels in Australia and overseas, including the Asian Centre for International Arbitration.

Sunita P. Advani

Sunita P. Advani is a tribunal secretary to Mr Michael Lee, an experienced English arbitrator member of Twenty Essex in London and Singapore.  In this role, she assists Mr Lee in his high-value and complex international commercial arbitrations across various industries (such as energy, construction, joint ventures and M&A) and administered by the leading arbitral institutions globally (such as the ICC, LCIA, SIAC and HKIAC).  She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Nicholas D Hopkins KC

Nick practices in commercial law and has conducted numerous complex commercial trials, arbitrations and appeals.  He is a Grade 1 Arbitrator and a Fellow of Resolution Institute, the Chartered Institute and ACICA.  He is also a NMAS-accredited Mediator and has acted as Expert Determiner and Facilitator.

Nick has appeared throughout Australia in both the Federal Court and in State Superior Courts as well as internationally in commercial arbitrations.

Nick is the Chair of Resolution Institute and a past President of the Commercial Bar Association of Victoria.

Daisy Mallett

Daisy Mallett is an independent arbitrator and legal adviser with over twenty years of experience in international arbitration. She was recognised as “Arbitrator of the Year” in 2025 by the Australian Disputes Centre and honoured as a Thought Leader in Arbitration 2026 by Lexology Index.

Daisy has received numerous appointments from leading arbitral institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and the Australian Centre for Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). Her expertise encompasses roles as sole arbitrator and chairperson of tribunals, including expedited and emergency arbitrations.
